Maternity sessions generally take place outdoors, and Newborn sessions tend to be captured in-home, however this is completely your choice.

Ultimately, wear whatever you love—something that feels like you, and makes you feel comfortable and confident.

I do have a small collection of ladies gowns available to wear for your session, which can be found on my instagram highlights. Just reach out if you're interested in this option.

If you’re after a little guidance, I recommend soft, earthy tones (you can explore my pinterest board for inspiration). Whites are always a beautiful option as well—they photograph cleanly and add a light, refined feel. Keeping to minimal colours and subtle textures tends to complement any location beautifully, creating a cohesive, timeless look across your gallery.

Portrait sessions are typically booked anywhere from 1–6 months in advance.

For maternity sessions, I recommend booking for when you’re around 30–35 weeks along, when your bump is beautifully rounded but you’re still feeling comfortable.

For newborn sessions, you can simply book in for your estimated due date—we’ll adjust the timing if needed once baby arrives. Easy and flexible.
